Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 tbsp salt for pasta water

Sauce

  • 1 lb mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 10 fresh sage leaves
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • Boil a large pot of water, add salt, and cook tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté mushrooms for 8 minutes.
  • Add sage leaves and salt, cooking for 1 minute.
  • Toss tortellini in the mushroom mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Use a mix of cremini and shiitake mushrooms. Add cream for a richer sauce.
