Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Butter softened
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 cup Fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch cake pan.
  • In a bowl, sift flour and baking powder.
    1.5 cup All-purpose flour, 1 tsp Baking powder
  • Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and milk.
    1 cup Granulated sugar, 0.5 cup Butter, 2 Large eggs, 0.5 cup Milk
  • Fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool and slice horizontally.
  • Layer with whipped cream and strawberries.
    2 cup Fresh strawberries
