Main

  • 1.5 lb beef chuck cubed
  • 2 carrots chopped

Base

  • 2 potatoes cubed
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Brown beef in olive oil, remove.
  • Sauté carrots and potatoes, add wine and 1 cup water.
  • Return beef, simmer for 2 hours.
  • Serve with polenta.
