Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 tbsp salt for pasta water

Sauce

  • 1 can pumpkin puree 15 oz
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • Boil a large pot of water, add salt, and cook penne according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add pumpkin puree, heavy cream, nutmeg, and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Toss penne in the sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Serve immediately.
