Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 16 oz potato gnocchi
  • 1 tbsp salt for pasta water

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 oz
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Boil a large pot of water, add salt, and cook gnocchi according to package instructions until they float. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add crushed tomatoes and salt, simmering for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in basil and toss gnocchi in the sauce.
  • Serve with grated Parmesan.
