Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch cake pans.
Sift flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder together.
2 cup All-purpose flour,
0.5 cup Cocoa powder,
1 tsp Baking powder
Beat eggs, sugar, and butter until smooth.
1.5 cup Granulated sugar,
3 Large eggs,
0.5 cup Butter
Fold in dry ingredients, divide batter between pans, and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Brush cooled cakes with kirsch, then layer with cherries and whipped cream.
1 cup Pitted cherries,
2 tbsp Kirsch
Decorate with chocolate shavings.
