Ingredients
  

Beef

  • 1.5 lb beef chuck cubed

Sauce

  • 1 can coconut milk 14 oz
  • 2 lemongrass stalks bruised
  • 2 tbsp tamarind paste
  • 1 tbsp red chili paste
  • 1 onion chopped

Instructions
 

  • Blend onion, chili paste, and tamarind to make a paste.
  • Brown beef in a pot, then add paste and lemongrass.
  • Add coconut milk and simmer for 2 hours until tender.
  • Serve with steamed rice.
