Red Velvet Cake

A classic Southern cake with a hint of cocoa and vibrant red color, topped with cream cheese frosting.
Ingredients
- 2.5 cup All-purpose flour sifted
- 1.5 cup Granulated sugar
- 0.25 cup Cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2 Large eggs
- 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp Red food coloring
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch cake pans.

- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
