Braised veal shanks with gremolata.

Ingredients
  

Main

  • 2 lb veal shanks
  • 1 cup white wine

Base

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 cup parsley chopped, for gremolata

Instructions
 

  • Brown veal shanks in olive oil, remove.
  • Sauté onion, add wine and 1 cup broth, return shanks.
  • Braise at 325°F (165°C) for 2 hours.
  • Serve with gremolata and risotto.
