Meatloaf

Hearty beef meatloaf with a tangy ketchup glaze.
Ingredients
Meatloaf
- 1.5 lb ground beef
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
Glaze
- 0.5 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Mix beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Shape into a loaf in a baking dish.
- Mix ketchup and brown sugar; spread over meatloaf.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 60 minutes.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
