Matcha Green Tea Cake

A delicate Japanese-inspired sponge with vibrant matcha flavor and white chocolate drizzle.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup All-purpose flour sifted
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp Matcha powder culinary grade
- 3 Large eggs
- 0.5 cup Butter melted
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch cake pan.
- Sift flour, matcha powder, and baking powder together in a bowl.1.5 cup All-purpose flour, 2 tbsp Matcha powder, 1 tsp Baking powder
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until pale. Add melted butter and milk.1 cup Granulated sugar, 3 Large eggs, 0.5 cup Butter, 0.5 cup Milk
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool and drizzle with melted white chocolate.
