Fusilli with Apple Cider Sauce

Fusilli pasta with a sweet and savory apple cider cream sauce, ideal for fall.

Ingredients
Pasta
- 12 oz fusilli pasta
- 1 tbsp salt for pasta water
Sauce
- 1 cup apple cider
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp salt
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of water, add salt, and cook fusilli according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add apple cider and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Toss fusilli in the sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
Garnish with chopped apples. Add crumbled bacon for savory contrast.
