Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 4 lb chicken pieces legs and thighs

Batter

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Marinate chicken in buttermilk for 1 hour.
  • Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip chicken in flour mixture to coat.
  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C); fry chicken 10-12 minutes per side.
  • Drain on paper towels before serving.
