Farfalle with Brussels Sprouts and Bacon

Farfalle pasta with roasted Brussels sprouts and crispy bacon, a fall favorite.

Ingredients
Pasta
- 12 oz farfalle pasta
- 1 tbsp salt for pasta water
Sauce
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
- 4 bacon slices chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil and salt. Roast with bacon on a baking sheet for 20 minutes.
- Boil a large pot of water, add salt, and cook farfalle according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Toss farfalle with roasted Brussels sprouts and bacon.
- Serve with grated Parmesan.
Notes
Add garlic for extra flavor. Use pancetta instead of bacon for a twist.
