Coniglio alla Cacciatora

Rabbit stew with tomatoes and herbs.
Ingredients
Main
- 2 lb rabbit cut into pieces
- 1 can crushed tomatoes 14 oz
Base
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 cup white wine
- 1 tsp rosemary
Instructions
- Brown rabbit in olive oil, remove.
- Add tomatoes, wine, and rosemary, simmer 10 minutes.
- Return rabbit, cook for 80 minutes.
- Serve with polenta.
Notes
Add olives for a salty twist.
