Banana Foster Cake

A Southern-inspired cake with caramelized bananas and a rum glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 cup All-purpose flour sifted
- 1.5 cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup Mashed bananas
- 3 Large eggs
- 0.5 cup Butter melted
- 2 tbsp Dark rum
- 1 tsp Baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan.

- Whisk eggs, sugar, mashed bananas, butter, and rum until smooth.1.5 cup Brown sugar, 1 cup Mashed bananas, 3 Large eggs, 0.5 cup Butter, 2 tbsp Dark rum
- Fold in dry ingredients, pour into pan, and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Cool and drizzle with rum caramel glaze.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
