Apple Pie

Flaky crust filled with sweet, spiced apples.
Ingredients
Crust
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butter cold, cubed
- 0.25 cup water ice-cold
Filling
- 6 apples peeled, sliced
- 0.75 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix flour and butter, add water to form dough; chill 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough for bottom and top crusts.
- Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon.
- Place apples in bottom crust, cover with top crust, seal edges.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 50-60 minutes.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
