Bruschetta with Tomato and Basil

Crispy toasted bread topped with a fresh tomato and basil mixture.

Ingredients
Topping
- 4 roma tomatoes diced
- 0.25 cup fresh basil chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic minced
- 0.5 tsp salt
Bread
- 1 baguette sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix diced tomatoes, basil, olive oil, garlic, and salt in a bowl.
- Brush baguette slices with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 5 minutes until bread is toasted.
- Spoon tomato mixture onto toasted bread slices.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra flavor. Use fresh tomatoes for best results.
