Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 tbsp salt for pasta water

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 oz
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Boil a large pot of water, add salt, and cook penne according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes for 1 minute.
  • Add crushed tomatoes and salt, simmering for 15 minutes.
  • Toss penne in the sauce and serve with grated Parmesan.
