Fettuccine Alfredo

Rich and creamy fettuccine pasta tossed in a classic Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients
Pasta
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 tbsp salt for pasta water
Sauce
- 0.5 cup butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of water, add salt, and cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and black pepper until sauce is smooth.
- Toss fettuccine in the sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
Add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein. Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
