Ingredients
  

Main

  • 1 lb pork shoulder cubed
  • 1 cup black beans dry

Seasoning

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions
 

  • Soak beans overnight, then drain.
  • Brown pork in a pot, remove.
  • Sauté onion and garlic, add beans, pork, bay leaf, and 4 cups water.
  • Simmer for 2 hours until beans are soft.
  • Serve with rice and orange slices.
