Chicken Adobo

Filipino chicken stew with soy sauce and vinegar.
Ingredients
Chicken
- 1.5 lb chicken thighs
Sauce
- 0.5 cup soy sauce
- 0.5 cup white vinegar
- 1 onion sliced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- Brown chicken thighs in a pot.
- Add onion, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and bay leaf.
- Simmer for 40 minutes until chicken is tender.
- Serve with steamed rice.
Notes
Add peppercorns for extra flavor.
