Swedish Meatballs

Creamy Swedish meatballs served with lingonberry jam.
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
Sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 0.25 cup lingonberry jam
Instructions
- Mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and salt, form into meatballs.
- Brown meatballs in a skillet, remove.
- Add broth and cream to skillet, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Return meatballs to sauce, cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve with lingonberry jam and mashed potatoes.
Notes
Substitute cranberry jam if lingonberry is unavailable.
