Base

  • 1 cup lentils brown
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 cup small pasta e.g., ditalini

Sauce

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 onion sliced, for crispy topping

Instructions
 

  • Cook lentils in boiling water for 20 minutes, drain.
  • Cook rice and pasta separately according to package instructions.
  • Fry onion slices until crispy, set aside.
  • Heat tomato sauce with cumin for 5 minutes.
  • Layer lentils, rice, and pasta in bowls, top with sauce and crispy onions.
