Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells

Jumbo pasta shells filled with creamy ricotta and spinach, baked in a rich marinara sauce.
Ingredients
Pasta
- 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
Filling
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup frozen spinach thawed and drained
- 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 egg
Sauce
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook jumbo pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Mix ricotta, spinach, mozzarella, egg, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Stuff each shell with the ricotta mixture and place in the dish.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over shells and sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Add fresh basil for extra flavor if desired.
