Shrimp and Grits

Creamy grits with sautéed shrimp and bacon.
Ingredients
Main
- 1 lb shrimp peeled
- 1 cup grits
Base
- 4 slice bacon chopped
- 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Cook grits in 4 cups water, stir in cheese and butter.
- Cook bacon until crisp, remove, sauté shrimp in bacon fat.
- Serve shrimp over grits, top with bacon.
- Garnish with green onions.
Notes
Add hot sauce for spice.
