Main

  • 2 lb beef short ribs
  • 1 cup red wine

Base

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 carrot chopped

Instructions
 

  • Brown ribs in olive oil, remove.
  • Sauté onion and carrot, add wine and 1 cup broth.
  • Return ribs, braise at 325°F (165°C) for 3 hours.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes.
