Sweet Potato Casserole

Creamy sweet potato casserole with a crunchy pecan topping, a Thanksgiving classic.

Ingredients
Casserole
- 3 sweet potatoes peeled and mashed
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 0.25 cup butter melted
Topping
- 0.5 cup pecans chopped
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar and melted butter. Spread in a baking dish.
- Combine pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter for topping.
- Sprinkle topping over sweet potatoes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Add marshmallows for a sweeter topping. Use canned sweet potatoes for convenience.
