Salsiccia con Lenticchie

Italian sausage with lentils.
Ingredients
Main
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup lentils rinsed
Base
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Brown sausage in olive oil, remove.
- Sauté onion, add lentils and broth.
- Return sausage, simmer for 40 minutes.
- Serve with crusty bread.
Notes
Add carrots for sweetness.
