Ossobuco alla Milanese

Slow-braised veal shanks with gremolata.
Ingredients
Main
- 4 veal shanks
Sauce
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion chopped
- 0.25 cup parsley chopped, for gremolata
Instructions
- Brown veal shanks in a pot, remove.
- Sauté onion, add wine and broth, bring to a simmer.
- Return shanks to pot, braise for 2 hours at 325°F (165°C).
- Mix parsley with lemon zest for gremolata, serve with shanks.
Notes
Serve with risotto alla Milanese.
