Almond Amaretto Cake

A nutty almond cake infused with amaretto liqueur, topped with almond slivers.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup All-purpose flour sifted
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup Ground almonds
- 3 Large eggs
- 0.5 cup Butter melted
- 2 tbsp Amaretto liqueur
- 1 tsp Baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch cake pan.
- Sift flour and baking powder, then mix in ground almonds.1.5 cup All-purpose flour, 0.5 cup Ground almonds, 1 tsp Baking powder
- Whisk eggs, sugar, butter, and amaretto until smooth.1 cup Granulated sugar, 3 Large eggs, 0.5 cup Butter, 2 tbsp Amaretto liqueur
- Fold in dry ingredients, pour into pan, and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Cool and top with almond slivers.
Notes
Toast almonds for enhanced flavor.
