Mexican Mole Poblano

Rich Mexican chicken dish with chocolate and chili sauce.
Ingredients
Chicken
- 1.5 lb chicken thighs
Mole Sauce
- 2 dried ancho chiles seeded
- 1 oz dark chocolate
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Toast chiles, soak in water, then blend with onion and cinnamon.
- Cook chicken in a pot until browned, remove.
- Add chile paste and 2 cups water, simmer for 40 minutes.
- Stir in chocolate, add chicken, cook for 10 minutes.
- Serve with tortillas.
Notes
Add sesame seeds for garnish.
